Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a brand new company in the field of theatre. From 2014 until her appointment in 2019, she was artistic director for the Seoul Shakespeare Company. She was also the producer of costumes/sets as well as a composer/musician, text coach and composition instructor for SSC when she was the Artistic Director of SSC. Although she usually led from within the acting ensemble in her final year she made her debut as a director (and the lighting design) for SSC's King Lear.
